The West Lakes Tennis Club was opened in 1987. A board was formed and together with the Charles Sturt Council, Club West Lakes (formerly known as the Lakes Sports Community Centre) came to fruition for the residents and neighbours of the West Lakes area.
We are one of the few 12 court, fully lit complexes in South Australia. All courts have been built to international standards and along with a large and well presented clubhouse. The layout of the area has paid particular attention to aesthetic and logistical details with the courts being set between the clubhouse and a vast reserve with plenty of car parking space for everyone’s convenience.
Our club has played host to events of significant importance such as The Charles Sturt Adelaide International, The Masters Games, The University Games and Australian Money Tournaments.
